There are several other dominant Iowa gambling halls, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.

A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend Riverboat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slots, and 14 table games. One more Iowa river based casino, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. water based casino in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday chemin de fer tournaments.

Iowa casinos present a great amount of tax money to the commonwealth of Iowa, which has allowed the budgeting of a good many commonwealth wide projects. Vacationers have grown at a rapid percentage along with the request for services and a gain in working people. Iowa casinos have contributed to the advancement of the economy, and the affection for gambling in Iowa is absolute.
